Grades 9-12
Wilhelmina “Will” Huckstep loves creating and fixing lamps, first because she feels like she was born in the wrong time, and has an old soul, and second because she’s secretly afraid of the dark. She lives with her aunt since her parents have passed, and they run an antiques shop together. Then one day there is a blackout, and Will has to face her fears, as well as come to terms with her parents’ deaths.
