Charlotte and her family have just moved to Walnut Grove, the childhood home of author Laura Ingalls, the beloved author of the Little House on the Prairie series. Charlotte’s mom is convinced the move will help her write a bestselling novel, but Charlotte knows that it is just another excuse for her mother to avoid her responsibilities. Their new house is freezing and there’s not much to do in the sleepy little town. Charlotte isn’t convinced they’ll survive there for long, until the spirit of Laura Ingalls starts to get through to her.
